Van Driver - Stoke-on-Trent
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after just six weeks.
This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver or Delivery Driver.
Rates of Pay:
* £14.76 per hour
* £19.68 per hour after 48 hours worked Shift Pattern: * Monday to Saturday
* 06:00 start times

* No heavy lifting involved

* Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties: As a Van Driver, you will work: * Delivering small parcels within a designated delivery area
* Completing approximately 30-40 deliveries per day
* Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
* Completing delivery paperwork and electronic records where required
* Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before departure
* Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
* Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures Essential Skills: To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need: * A valid UK Category B Driving Licence
* No more than three penalty points for minor offences
* No DD, DR or IN endorsement codes
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A reliable and professional approach to work
