Richard Quinn is excited to recruit a Printed Textile Designer & Technician to join the hardworking in-house team in Bermondsey South, London.
Richard Quinn houses Richard Quinn Print Studio, a printing service that prints and sources textiles for our international customer base. This position focuses on our customer-facing print service. The successful candidate will be introduced to all the in-house machines, design prints for our clients, and the printing and fusing of roll-to-roll fabrics.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Printed Textile Designer & Technician:
- Print using our in-house machines (the successful candidate will be inducted into all machinery)
- Daily running of the Richard Quinn print studio service.
- Receive jobs and process them in a timely manner to a high standard.
- Working with external suppliers to develop swatches for seasonal collections for RQ collections and clients.
- Using Photoshop and Illustrator
- Maintain a high level of quality to ensure the product provided to the clients meets the required standards.
- Time and priority management of client jobs
What Richard Quinn is looking for:
- Experience making accurate print tile repeats – and being able to do so in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate ideas and create artwork.
- Proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator - these will be your main tools on a daily basis
- Very strong communication skills, both internally and to external suppliers
- Able to pick up digital software quickly - our machines run on specific software packages
- High level of motivation and organisation
- Hands-on approach
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate well within a team
- Elevated taste level and a strong eye for colour and concept
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at once
- Detail-oriented
- Good time management to ensure deadlines are met
- Strong eye for luxury detail and materials
- Build and maintain relationships with our fabric suppliers
