Job Vacancy: Healthcare Assistant
Location : Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home in Canvey Island, Essex SS8 7TN
Contracted hours : 44 Hours - Mixed days & nights (4 shifts per 7 day rota, to include every other weekend)
(Hourly) rate of pay : From £12.71

The Health Care Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
- Ensuring care plans, assessments and risk assessments and other care documentation in place to support residents are followed accordingly.
- Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents.
- Maintaining the residents' independence, privacy, and dignity always.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all care given, onto our software package (handheld devices).
- Ensuring Infection Control procedures are always adhered to.
