We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Associate Scientist to join our discovery research team at Regeneron Cell Medicines. You will be performing immunological functional assays for analyzing genetically engineered human primary T cells (CAR-T or TCR T cells) from both early discovery programs as well as late-stage development programs' nonclinical studies that support regulatory submissions. We hope you are excited to be in a hands-on laboratory role in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day might include:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Associate Scientist to join our discovery research team at Regeneron Cell Medicines. You will be performing immunological functional assays for analyzing genetically engineered human primary T cells (CAR-T or TCR T cells) from both early discovery programs as well as late-stage development programs' nonclinical studies that support regulatory submissions. We hope you are excited to be in a hands-on laboratory role in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day might include:
- Contributing to preclinical research and development of CAR/TCR T cell therapies in solid tumor indications
- Characterizing genetically modified primary human T cells via immunophenotyping using multi-color flow cytometry and molecular assays (PCR, library preps for NGS, RNA-Seq)
- Developing and performing immunological functional assays to assess immune cell activation, anti-tumor cytotoxicity, proliferation, and cytokine secretion to evaluate the efficacy of CAR and TCR-based T-cell therapeutics
- Designing experiments independently and contributing to the project direction
- Maintaining an electronic lab notebook and documenting experiment results
- Reviewing and presenting research data to the functional team
- Have a can-do attitude, are curious, and excel in creative problem solving
- Can multi-task and manage time well
- Can quickly adapt to new research areas and implement new techniques independently
- Are scientifically rigorous, highly organized, and a self-starter with excellent attention to detail
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Are self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in an interdisciplinary, collaborative research environment
