Registered Manager – Residential Dementia Care
Location: Maidstone Area, Kent
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Sponsorship: Not available
- Hold CQC registration as Registered Manager for the service
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and care delivery
- Maintain full regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Lead recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management
- Manage rotas, budgets, and staffing levels effectively
- Promote a positive, person-centred culture throughout the home
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager in a residential care setting
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and governance
- NVQ / QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (essential or working towards)
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to start immediately or at short notice
- 27-bed residential care home
- Dementia care
- Established private provider
- Autonomy to lead and shape the service
Maidstone, Tonbridge, Chatham, Sittingbourne, Ashford, Sevenoaks, Faversham and surrounding areas.
