An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Walsall is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Drama / Music Teacher to join its thriving Performing Arts department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.
The successful candidate will teach Drama and Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression. You will support students in developing practical performance skills, composition, devising, script interpretation, music appreciation, and collaborative working while preparing learners for GCSE Drama and/or Music where applicable.
Working within a supportive Performing Arts department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. - Have a passion for the performing arts and inspiring young people through creativity and performance
