The team
The Suffolk Resilience Forum (SRF) supports partner organisations in meeting their responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and is hosted within Public Health, Communities and Public Safety at Suffolk County Council. Working closely with a wide range of multi-agency partners, the team provides coordination, administrative, and project support across a variety of resilience workstreams.
All members of the SRF team participate in the on-call rota, supporting major incidents across Suffolk, including the county's Tactical and Strategic Coordination Groups and the Multi-Agency Information Cell. Partnership work is primarily undertaken on Working Wednesdays, which are usually hosted at Police Headquarters, while Tuesdays are dedicated team-working days based at Endeavour House. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Suffolk's emergency planning and resilience arrangements, helping partners prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies that affect local communities.
