About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Design Manager to lead the design and coordination of district heating and hot water distribution system replacement projects within housing and public buildings. You will be responsible for managing the design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and securing necessary approvals to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the design of district heating and hot water distribution system replacements.
• Conduct or coordinate necessary design calculations to meet project specifications.
• Prepare and submit design calculations for approval, negotiating as required to meet contract obligations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in project design management, ideally within district heating, M&E, or building services sectors.
• Strong knowledge of heating and hot water distribution systems.
• Ability to carry out and review design calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Experience with design software and technical documentation.
