Our Consulting Summer Internships enable you to shape your future with confidence. From bots that do number crunching, to sustainability projects that positively impact people and the planet, we have opportunities to match your passion and strengths.

The Consulting summer internships are four-week programmes for students in their penultimate year of university. During the programme, you'll transform data into value-adding insights, advising clients on how to manage their businesses to avoid risk and uncertainty. You can choose to intern in one of the following areas:

• Business Consulting — help organisations navigate disruption and transform their businesses whilst developing skills that’ll complement your career.
• Cyber Security — help our clients strengthen their cyber security and operational resilience and gain invaluable experience.
• Digital Risk (Northern Ireland only) — bring your passion for problem solving and analysing information and help to ensure our client’s IT systems are safe, secure and fit for purpose.
• People Consulting —gain hands-on experience in People Consulting and help organisations manage their people, processes and systems better.
• Process and Controls —help our clients reduce risk and enhance their process and control by providing independent advice and assurance.
• Risk Consulting —help our clients to protect their businesses from risk whilst developing skills that’ll complement your career.
• Technology Consulting — help organisations leverage technology to transform their businesses, whilst developing skills that’ll complement your career.

What you can expect:

As a Summer Intern, you will:

• Work on client projects with colleagues and graduates while being supported by a dedicated EY buddy
• Attend team meetings to discuss project progress, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues on various tasks.
• Develop core skills in business writing, effective time management, client service and personal brand through structured learning and self-directed learning
• Have the opportunity to get career advice from one of our counsellors
• Network with colleagues to develop your professional relationships
