Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Negotiation Governance Lead to oversee site contract and budget negotiations for global clinical trials. The role manages escalations, ensures legal and budget compliance, and provides strategic oversight and training to contracting operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of Sponsored Research Agreements with investigators and institutions on escalated negotiations
- Develop and negotiate site-level and country-level budgets aligned with global standards and strategic objectives
- Serve as final escalation point for legal and budget queries from site contracting operations
- Develop negotiation templates, decision histories, and fallback language libraries in partnership with legal
- Provide training, mentorship, and quality oversight to team members on negotiation and governance best practices
Requirements
- Deep expertise in clinical trial site contract and budget negotiation
- Advanced knowledge of global contracting standards and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of legal, financial, and compliance requirements in clinical research
- Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution capabilities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or Life Sciences
- Minimum 7 years of direct clinical contract negotiation experience
- Experience leading teams and managing complex projects
