Job summary
Woking Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse (CPN) to join our team. The team is moving through a transition to an All-Age Neighbourhood Mental Health Team to provide more joined up mental health care for our community. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, the successful applicant will deliver comprehensive assessments and a variety of approaches, interventions, and treatments to individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues, supporting them in their personal recovery journey. Candidates must have a full driving license and a car to use for work. Main duties of the job
You will be required to take lead and professional responsibility for a number of service users. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You must be committed to delivering a high-quality service, working both independently and as part of our well-established, innovative, and recovery-focused team to meet the needs of service users and their carers. In addition to managing a defined caseload, the successful applicant will conduct initial assessments for clients referred to the service and support individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community.
