Pinewood.AI is looking for experienced hands-on Developers to play a key role in our software development teams based in Solihull. Working closely with Lead Developers, Engineering colleagues, Product, testers, and other colleagues across the wider business, you will support the delivery and ongoing development of our Automotive Intelligence Platform.
As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions for the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform, our enterprise-scale SaaS product used by automotive retailers and OEMs worldwide.
This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys building new product features, developing integrations with third-party systems, and working across the full software development lifecycle while supporting high engineering standards within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, and enhance enterprise-level software solutions using C#, .NET / .NET Core, Razor, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Work closely with Product Owners, testers, UI/UX specialists, and Engineering colleagues to deliver new functionality, improvements, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Remain hands-on in coding, solution design, and development across the full .NET stack.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms using APIs and other integration methods.
- Support best practices across development, testing, and deployment to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, development tooling, and engineering practices alongside the wider Engineering team.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas that support product improvement and delivery effectiveness.
- Diagnose complex technical issues, including integration challenges, data consistency issues, and performance improvements.
- Support knowledge sharing and code quality through peer reviews and collaboration.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on clean, efficient code and practical delivery.

Requirements
- Commercial experience developing software within a SaaS, enterprise software, or similar environment.
- Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases, with experience writing and optimising queries.
- Experience building web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and Razor or similar front-end technologies.
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating applications with third-party systems.
- Experience using Visual Studio or VS Code, alongside source control tools such as Git.
- Understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience working across the software development lifecycle, from development and testing through to deployment and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or other cloud and deployment technologies would be beneficial.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement within the Engineering team.
