Our client is seeking a committed and knowledgeable SENCO to join a welcoming secondary academy in Slough from April. This is a key leadership role within the school, responsible for overseeing the strategic development of SEND provision and ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will lead on EHCP coordination, intervention planning, staff training, and liaising with parents and external agencies. You will work closely with senior leadership, pastoral teams, and safeguarding leads to ensure inclusive practice is embedded across the academy.

This role would suit an experienced SENCO or inclusion leader with a strong understanding of statutory requirements and a passion for improving outcomes for students with additional needs.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
• National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Experience leading interventions and supporting staff development
