The Role

This hybrid position bridges high level paraplanning with hands on client advising. You’ll begin by supporting advisers technically, then gradually transition into taking ownership of client relationships and delivering holistic financial planning.

You’ll Be Involved In

• Technical paraplanning — suitability reports, fund research, compliant documentation
• Client relationship management — shadowing advisers, attending meetings, taking on reviews
• Holistic financial advice — pensions, investments, protection
• Professional development — full study support, structured CAS pathway
• Compliance & ethics — working within a robust framework with ongoing support

This is a role designed for someone who wants to move into advice properly, with structure, mentoring, and guaranteed client flow.

What You Need

• Strong experience within an IFA environment (paraplanning or senior admin)
• Ability to draft complex suitability reports
• Ideally Level 4 qualified or close to completion
• Within commutable distance of Buxton
• Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and genuine ambition to build a long term advisory career
