Teaching Personnel are currently working with a supportive and well-resourced school in South West London, seeking a dedicated SEN / SEMH Teacher to join their team.
This role is ideal for a confident and adaptable teacher who is comfortable working across Early Years, Primary, and potentially older learners , supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs .
⚠️ Essential Requirements (Please Read Before Applying)- ✅ Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- ✅ Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- ❌ Applications without QTS or a DBS on the update service will not be considered
As a full-time SEN/SEMH Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them engage with learning and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Working across EYFS, KS1, KS2 , and potentially older age groups
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and external professionals
- Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies
- Hold QTS (essential)
- Have experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils
- Are confident working across a range of age groups
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Are patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Can bring structure, empathy, and consistency to their teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
