An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced for a Band 6 Physiotherapist looking to take the next step in their career to join the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust as a temporary Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within one of the largest community NHS trusts. You will work alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and senior MSK clinicians, across CLCH sites, gaining experience in a variety of assessment, treatment, and management pathways. We are looking for a motivated physiotherapist with a passion for musculoskeletal practice, who is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and is adaptable to the evolving healthcare environment. As part of our friendly and supportive team, you will benefit from a comprehensive induction, regular clinical supervision, in-service training, and support from experienced Band 7 MSK Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners with strong links to secondary care services. This temporary full-time post offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your MSK knowledge and skills while making a valuable contribution to the delivery of high-quality patient care. Main duties of the job
- Be professional and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own workincluding the management of patients in your care.
- Ensure a consistently high level of clinical care for the patients under your management and support your peers to do likewise.
- Provide an equal and equitable service for all patients, including the harder to reach population groups.
- Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients, using investigative and analytical skills.
- Be aware of your professional limitations, seeking support as necessary through supervision, discussion with peers/more senior colleagues and team case discussions.
- Use a variety of assessment and treatment techniques appropriate to the patient, in accordance with evidence-based practice, national guidelines and trust and departmental policy (including manual handling and confidentiality).
