- Tracks and progresses materials through the document management system or case milestones
- Manages logistics of production of documents - hard copy, images
- Responsible for case management in relation to documents and document management systems
- Substantive legal research
- Analyses documents and materials
- Performs factual research
- Coordinates preparation and filing of briefs and legal documents
- Checks legal cites for proper format, content and standing
- Proofreads documents
- Compiles appendices and exhibits/bundles
- Interacts with external entities such as: clients, government agencies, expert witnesses,
- consultants, other law firms, opposing parties and court personnel
- Manages preparation for witness statements and witness interviews
- Manages preparation of witness and other case related files
- Assists in preparation of witness interview outlines
- Manages trial and hearing preparation and support
- Compiles and tracks trial exhibits
- Prepares pre-trial documents
- Communicates with and coordinates witnesses, consultants, experts
- Assists team members in compiling material for business development, marketing, articles and pitches.
- Manages the departments know how system and SharePoint sites
- Develops best practices in the London office.
