Group Tax Manager - Hybrid, Heavy Industry
£85k - £100k per annumOur client is a leading business within the heavy industry with a strong presence in the UK and overseas. They are looking for a Group Tax Manager to join their team to provide oversight of corporate tax, VAT and employment tax.
The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and growing business with a supportive and collaborative team. The role offers a high degree of flexibility and the opportunity to develop and progress within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversight of corporate tax, VAT and employment tax
• Coordinate with external advisors and consultants as necessary
• Review and manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
• Manage and review the tax accounting process for the company, including deferred tax calculations and tax provisions
• Provide tax advice to the business on key projects and transactions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure that the business is informed of any relevant changes
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business
• Tax qualification (ACCA, CTA or ACA)
• Thorough experience in tax compliance and reporting Background in the Big 4 is very helpful
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax, VAT and employment tax
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Package:
• Salary c. £95,000
