HGV Class 1 Driver Castle Donington Weekday & Weekend Shifts Available | Immediate Starts | Up to £24.00 Per HourWe are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Castle Donington (DE74) . This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with one of the UK's leading logistics providers, offering weekday and weekend shifts , competitive rates of pay, and immediate starts.The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of chilled and ambient goods to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) and customer locations.The role will involve a mixture of trunking and store deliveries, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Experience with double deck, curtain-side or refrigerated trailers is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.Available Shifts We have a variety of start times available throughout the week, including:Monday to Friday Various day and night start times available.Friday Start times between 1:00am and 12:00pm .Saturday Afternoon starts available.Sunday Day and night start times available.Regular ongoing work is available for drivers seeking either full-time or weekend-only shifts.Pay Rates Monday to Friday Days: £18.00 per hourNights: £19.00 per hourSaturday Days: £22.00 per hourNights: £23.00 per hourSunday Days: £23.00 per hourNights: £24.00 per hourDuties Delivering and collecting chilled and ambient goods.Trunking and RDC/store deliveries.Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.Completing all delivery paperwork accurately.Working in line with DVSA regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.Delivering a professional and courteous service at every customer site.Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have:A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.A valid Digital Tachograph Card.A minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience .No more than 6 penalty points .No DR, DD or IN endorsements.A reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.Direct-to-store delivery experience is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.Why Join?
