VAT Manager (Financial Services) - West London, to £70k + 20% bonus
£60k - £70k per annumAn industry leading financial services group based in West London is seeking a VAT Manager to join their tax team. This newly created position will report directly into the Head of Tax and will expose you to a variety of projects and complex transactions. This role offers lots of flexibility with working from home 3-4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the VAT compliance function, preparing UK VAT returns.
- Utilize up-to-date knowledge of current and future legislation to advise on group wide VAT queries.
- Pulling VAT reports out of the general ledger
- Assist with year-end VAT audit queries
- Support the Head of Indirect Tax on various other projects.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or hold a related tax qualification, with relevant VAT experience. They will be commercial and confident, willing to liaise with various departments and personnel. Prior experience within financial services would be beneficial.
