People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join our well-established client based in Chelveston, Northamptonshire on a full-time ongoing basis.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Waste Recycling Operative, Sorting Operative (Recycling) or Recycling Facility Operative.

Rates of Pay:

* £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

* Monday to Friday
* 07:00 - 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Recycling Operative are:

* Working on a recycling line handling fruit, vegetables and bakery goods
* Operating a cage lifter to maintain consistent product flow
* Separating food waste from packaging and checking for contaminants
* Loading and unloading trailers as required
* Carrying out general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including pressure washing
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Recycling Operative, you will need:

* Basic level of English
* Strong reliability and punctuality
* A good eye for detail
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work in a food-waste environment

Training:

* Full training provided
* Ongoing support throughout your assignment
