The Role – What You’ll Do
• Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Support coaching, fixtures, and extracurricular sport.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and resilience.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and participation.
• Engage fully in the wider life of the school community.
Person Specification
Essential
• Degree in PE, Sport, or a related subject.
• QTS/PGCE (or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge and practical teaching ability.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
Desirable
• Experience teaching A-Level PE or BTEC Sport.
• Coaching qualifications or specialist sport expertise.
• Experience leading extracurricular programmes.
