Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

Can you help students see Mathematics as a subject they can understand, apply, and succeed in?

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint confident and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join fabulous schools in Barnsley . We would like to hear from educators who can explain mathematical concepts clearly, make lessons accessible to different ability levels, and encourage students to become independent problem-solvers.

The Math Teacher delivers structured and engaging lessons that strengthen learners' numerical knowledge, reasoning abilities, and confidence in tackling mathematical problems.

Math Teacher Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons in line with the curriculum
* Teach key areas including number, algebra, geometry, and statistics
* Use clear examples and activities to make difficult concepts easier to understand
* Adapt lessons to support different learning needs and ability levels
* Assess progress through classwork, homework, tests, and examinations
* Provide revision guidance and additional support where required

Math Teacher Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
* Previous experience teaching Mathematics within a school or similar setting
* Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
* Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and simply
* Effective planning, communication, and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
