Music Teacher - Secondary School in Swindon

Job Overview
The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3–KS4 , with the potential for KS5 involvement depending on experience. You will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ performance, composition and listening skills, while encouraging confidence, creativity and musical expression. The school is keen to appoint a Music Teacher who is happy to contribute to extra-curricular activities and the wider performing arts programme.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching Music across KS3–KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
• Supporting GCSE coursework and performance preparation
• Encouraging participation in choirs, ensembles and music clubs
• Contributing to concerts, productions and whole-school events
• Working collaboratively within a supportive department

Experience & Qualifications

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
