VAT Assistant Manager - London
Are you currently working in VAT/ Indirect Tax Senior or Assistant Manager and looking for a genuine opportunity to progress to Manager, a fantastic modern working environment or simply a new challenge in London, City?
We're looking to speak with an experienced VAT Senior/ Consultant who has experience of both UK VAT compliance and advisory work. This role is with one of the UK's Top 50 accountancy firm, one of the UK's most respected professional services companies.
This position will provide an opportunity for the individual to work across a wide range of clients and individuals, companies, charities and not for profit organisations, advising on many different aspects of VAT compliance, transaction and liability matters.
Advice is provided through face to face meetings and via written correspondence to clients and the successful candidate will also be expected to act as a technical resource for internal partners and staff on a variety of different VAT issues.
The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills and experience and have detailed up to date knowledge of VAT issues. Particular experience of land and property transactions, partial exemption and business/non-business apportionment would be desirable. They will also be pro-active in their approach to problem solving and technical research.
This role offers a variety of technical areas for you to build your experience in and the firm will support you in a becoming a subject specialist and an all-round VAT adviser.
