Social Worker/Senior Social Worker - Children in Need Team
£39.85k - £50.69k per annumLiquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Harrow Council in recruiting Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join their Children in Need Team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-run and highly supportive safeguarding service, working with children and families subject to Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, care proceedings and Children Looked After. Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families requiring assessment, intervention and safeguarding support.
- Work with children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
- Undertake assessments, care planning and direct work to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Contribute to care proceedings and permanency planning where required.
- Build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
For This Role You Will Need
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Successful completion of ASYE.
- At least one year's post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
