HGV Class 2 Driver - Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver .
Rates of Pay: £16.25 per hour
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* Start times between 01:30 - 04:30 Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 2 Driver are: * Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift
* No weekend work
* Opportunity to secure a permanent position
* Opportunity to work bank holidays (paid at the standard hourly rate)
* Canteen facilities

* Weekly pay Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are: * Completing two to five drops per day
* Delivering roller cages and totes
* Operating a tail lift
* Assisting with handballing when required
* Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
* Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
* Completing any necessary paperwork Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: * To be comfortable with early starts
* A minimum of twelve months' previous Class 2 driving experience
* A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
* A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
