We are looking for an Internal Customs Manager to join our Road Logistics Customs team. In this role, you will lead a team of specialists responsible for managing export and transit processes, with a strong focus on exception management and SLA adherence. You will ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the function.

How you create impact

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of exception management specialists, fostering engagement, collaboration, and accountability.

• Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve exceptions while implementing preventive measures through root cause analysis.

• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining SLA adherence, compliance standards, and efficient day-to-day processes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to optimise processes and reduce recurring issues.

• Manage escalations and stakeholder communication effectively, providing insights through reporting, tracking, and trend analysis.

• Strong expertise in export & transit processes, customs compliance, and exception management. 

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and manage team performance.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in reporting, data interpretation, and performance tracking.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused and adaptable approach.
