ECT Maths Teacher - Secondary School - Manchester
A welcoming and well-organised secondary school in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Maths to join its supportive Mathematics department. About the Role
As ECT Maths Teacher , you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 , delivering engaging lessons that build pupils’ confidence, fluency and reasoning. You will be supported to deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
Secure foundations through clear explanation and modelling
Fluency and accuracy through purposeful practice and retrieval
Reasoning through structured questioning and guided problem-solving
GCSE confidence through deliberate practice, feedback and consistent routines
ECT Support and Development
You will benefit from a strong ECT programme, including:
A dedicated subject mentor and regular coaching
Protected time for training, planning and reflection
Opportunities to observe experienced colleagues
Support with behaviour routines, assessment and adaptive teaching
Shared resources and collaborative planning to reduce workload

Salary: MPS (ECT)
