Warehouse Operative
Part-time, Full-time
As a Part Time Sales Assistant/Warehouse Operative based in Aviemore, you'll be responsible for:
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse
- Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items eg boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets
- On occasion driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
- Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal
- Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience
- Warehouse experience
- The ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
