Location: Wooburn Green, High Wycombe
Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office, 3 days per week from home
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

Working closely with leaders and managers across the business, you'll play a key role in creating a culture where learning is part of everyday life, supporting people to grow, develop and deliver excellent outcomes for our residents and communities.

About the Role

As our Talent Development Partner, you'll take the lead in designing, delivering and continuously improving learning and development across SettleParadigm.

Partnering with leaders and managers, you'll identify development needs and create engaging, practical learning solutions that have a genuine impact on individual and organisational performance. From leadership development programmes and apprenticeships to mandatory training, professional qualifications and continuing professional development (CPD), you'll help ensure our colleagues have the tools, knowledge and confidence they need to thrive both now and in the future.

You'll also be the champion for our Learning Management System (LMS), helping to create a seamless and engaging learning experience. By ensuring colleagues can easily access high-quality learning content and by providing meaningful reporting and insights, you'll support informed decision-making and help demonstrate the value of our learning investment.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. It offers the opportunity to influence organisational performance, enhance the colleague experience and help build a culture where people can do their best work and continue to grow.

Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, you'll work with colleagues at all levels across SettleParadigm, building strong relationships and helping to shape our approach to learning and development for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously improve our learning and development offer, ensuring it aligns with organisational priorities and future workforce needs.

  • Partner with leaders and managers to identify learning needs and create effective development solutions.

  • Design, deliver and evaluate learning programmes, workshops and development initiatives.

  • Lead the development and management of our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content, reporting and user experience remain effective and engaging.

  • Design and manage mandatory, compliance and Health & Safety training frameworks, ensuring strong completion rates and organisational assurance.

  • Deliver and enhance leadership and management development programmes.

  • Coordinate apprenticeship programmes and support colleagues to access professional qualifications and development opportunities.

  • Champion professionalism, continuous professional development (CPD) and career development pathways.

  • Use data, feedback and insight to measure impact, demonstrate return on investment and continuously improve learning activity.

  • Build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted development partner and advisor.

What We’re Looking For

You'll be a proactive and credible learning and development professional who enjoys working collaboratively with leaders and colleagues to build capability and drive performance.

You'll be equally comfortable designing strategy, facilitating learning, analysing data and delivering practical solutions. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about helping people grow and creating development opportunities that make a meaningful difference.

Must haves:

  • Experience working in a learning, talent or organisational development role.

  • Experience designing and delivering learning programmes across an organisation.

  • Strong understanding of learning and development best practice.

  • Knowledge of mandatory, compliance and Health & Safety training requirements.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills.

  • Ability to identify learning needs, evaluate effectiveness and demonstrate impact.

  • Experience using digital learning platforms, learning systems or LMS technology.

  • A commitment to continuous improvement, professionalism and personal development.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience delivering leadership and management development programmes.

  • Experience managing or coordinating apprenticeship programmes.

  • Knowledge of professional standards and learning trends within housing or a related sector.

  • Experience designing engaging digital, blended or self-directed learning solutions.

  • A relevant Learning & Development, HR, coaching or organisational development qualification (or working towards one).

  • A passion for measuring learning effectiveness and demonstrating return on investment.

Working Hours
