Exams Officer - Northamptonshire - January 2026
A high-performing 11–18 school in Northamptonshire is looking for a meticulous and calm Exams Officer to coordinate all internal and external examinations from January 2026 .
The Role
You will be responsible for the full examinations cycle, including:
- Coordinating all GCSE, BTEC and A-Level entries
- Liaising with exam boards and ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations
- Producing exam timetables, seating plans and staff schedules
- Training and managing a team of invigilators
- Overseeing the secure storage and distribution of exam papers
- Ensuring the smooth running of every exam day
- Supporting data entry for results and post-results services
The role requires accuracy, good time management and the ability to work under pressure during peak periods.
