An established independent secondary school in Manchester is seeking a confident Behaviour Manager to join its pastoral leadership team.
Previous school experience is essential, with strong experience in behaviour management, pastoral support, inclusion or student services.
You'll be expected to set clear boundaries, deal confidently with challenging situations and ensure behaviour expectations are applied consistently across the school.
What You'll Be Doing
Overseeing daily behaviour management
Supporting students with persistent behavioural concerns
Leading behaviour interventions
Monitoring incidents and behaviour trends
Working with Heads of Year and senior leaders
Supporting students returning from suspension
Holding restorative meetings
Communicating with parents and carers
Maintaining accurate behaviour records
Contributing to wider pastoral strategies
The Right Person
You’ll be organised, resilient and confident when dealing with difficult conversations.
The school would particularly value someone who understands restorative practice, safeguarding, SEMH and early intervention.
