Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist within the Review Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality assessments and reviews of care and support services for adults with diverse needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough reviews of existing care packages, ensuring that individuals' needs are accurately assessed and met.
- Working collaboratively with service users, carers, and other professionals to identify and implement appropriate interventions.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders regarding occupational therapy interventions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of services through participation in quality assurance processes.
- Attending panel meetings to provide professional input and recommendations.
- As part of the Review Team, you will be working alongside dedicated professionals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
- Experience working in a social care setting, ideally within a local authority.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with the ability to identify and address individuals' needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with service users, colleagues, and external partners.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in occupational therapy and social care.
- Ability to work independently, managing a diverse caseload while also contributing to team objectives.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality care and support.
