Senior Project Manager MHST

£49.39k - £56.52k per annum

To be responsible for the development of the plan to expand MHST over the next 3 years to meet 100% coverage across Nottinghamshire County Schools, including the deployment of local and national initiatives. Develop and manage the detailed project programme, identifying the tasks to be completed within agreed timescales, the task owner and dependencies. When required, make adjustments to the project plan as agreed by the business. Proven team worker with motivational and influencing skills. Demonstrate the ability to communicate highly complex and technical information in an understandable form to all grades of staff in a multi-disciplinary environment and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups. Provides and receives highly complex, sensitive or contentious contractual information in relation to technical and Information Governance aspects. Ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders and system partners on difficult and controversial issues and present highly complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups. Manage complex, sensitive and contentious information on risks and change implications of projects. With the ability to overcome barriers using developed interpersonal and communication skill requires in challenging and highly emotive atmospheres. Gain acceptance, motivate/persuade people where there are significant barriers to understanding. Work with the Health Informatics Services and external suppliers, providers and stakeholders. Produce reports and communicate audits to Service Manager and General Manager upon request in varying formats. To have the ability to communicate any changes in practice as a result of audits/ guidelines/ process changes to the wider team in an effective way adapting to the needs of the audience. Ability to present to all variety of professionals both internally and externally. Work with all levels of staff from Directors to staff in the front line. To work effectively with the other staff within the Organisation, adopting a partnership, problem solving approach to issues as they arise. Educated to degree level or equivalent, in an area that can be related to project management. Prince 2 (Practitioner) project management methodology qualifications or equivalent level of experience. Experience of managing projects. Experienced multi-disciplinary worker including work with external agencies. Knowledge of NHS Informatics systems and policies including those about Information Governance. Ability to work autonomously. Ability to work flexibly in busy work environments. Able to communicate with all grades of staff through papers, reports and through verbal presentations and briefings. Business planning skills. Experience of contract negotiation and detailed analysis of complex contracts. Ability to interpret data and analyse and feedback through appropriate channels. Leadership and facilitation of individuals and teams. Experience of reviewing and improving business processes through innovative technology systems. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Committed to accomplishing challenging objectives. Resilient, innovative, computer Literate. Demonstrate ability to lead a service that retain its early intervention purpose. Strong understanding of MHST functions within the wider healthcare context. Experience of audit, service evaluation and setting clinical standards. Experience of working collaboratively with multi-agency partners and education settings. Strong commitment to the team and partnership working. The post holder will be responsible for the development/formulation of plans to support the implementation of the next waves of MHST to achieve 100% coverage within Nottinghamshire. In addition, there will be a requirement to organise and manage a broad range of complex activities which aligns to the NHS England requirement for MHST to ensure that projects are delivered to time, within budget and to the required quality. To work without supervision for periods and self prioritise/organise own work schedules. Produce timely and informative reports for stakeholders as and when needed this will have the potential to detail around the expansion of MHST to 100% coverage by 2029 and provide clear data around the MHST Activity through MHSDS (Mental Health Service Data Set). Planning and organisation of a broad range of complex activities this can include the requirements within the MHSDS and local activities which can impact across or within other departments and services. This can include formulation and adjustment of plans based around other services within CAMHS and education. Oversee systems testing and problem identification and where appropriate escalate these onto the supplier for remedy. Support with the strategic plan for 100% coverage by 2030. Ability to analyse and interpret complex contracts in relation to a range of Information Technology and Information Governance issues. Ability to produce and assess a range of technically complex options for service delivery. Ability to assess and resolve potentially conflicting options particularly within the areas of Information Governance. To analyse performance data and assess project work undertaken, considering ways to improve productivity. Contribute to developing the Trusts informatics strategy and associated plans, programmes and policies. Analyse informatics requirements to support service management, procurement and delivery of projects, contributing to project initiation and developing specifications to inform options appraisals. Responsible for reporting on project progress to the Head of Projects and Project Boards. Ensure that projects and programmes are delivered in line with PRINCE2 standards. Lead on engagement of stakeholders, including patients and public, in the development and delivery of the informatics work programme. Provide coordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups and provide project advice, expertise and support where requested. Manage the project risk and issues register, liaising with local project teams to ensure that relevant risks are identified, reviewed and mitigations delivered. Innovative and flexible responses to emerging and developing client/partner needs. Maintain positive working relationships and pathways with partners. They should take all appropriate actions to address concerns, working to agreed local policies and procedures including the guidance on Safeguarding, in partnership with other relevant agencies. This includes accessing appropriate training, advice and support. Where this post relates to the types of work, activity, employment, or profession as set out in The Exceptions Order made under the Rehabilitation of Offender Act 1974; the post will be subject to a DBS Disclosure check at the point of recruitment and thereafter, as the Trust determines appropriate. The level of the check will be determined by the type of activities undertaken and the level of contact the post holder will have with children and/or adults in receipt of health services. The more high-quality data, the more confidence the organisation has in decisions. Good data decreases risk and can result in consistent improvements in results. Employees within data roles have a responsibility for inputting high quality data (accurate, valid, timely, complete) and for ensuring that high quality data is maintained. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies. The post holder will have standard keyboard skills. There is a requirement to work to high levels of accuracy when developing complex plans, resource estimates and financial plans. Substantial travel between sites within the Trust and to other organisations beyond the Trusts geographical boundary, attending meetings and presentations. Responsibility to make recommendations and manage the implementation of changes to policies and working practices within the organisations and wider health community.
