Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant – September Start – Gateshead
An excellent school in Gateshead is looking to recruit a Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.
This full-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with hearing impairments and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Providing BSL communication support
- Supporting learning across the curriculum
- Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in groups
- Promoting engagement and participation
- Supporting social, emotional and personal development
- Collaborating with teaching staff and parents
Requirements:
- BSL Level 2 qualification
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience supporting children or young people preferred
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to drive is essential
