Retail Security Officer
Location: Tesco Halstead, CO9 2JN
Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 31.25 hours per week
Contract: Temporary Full-Time About the Role
Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Halstead, CO9 2JN on a temporary full-time basis. As a key member of the security team, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store. Shift Pattern
You will work 31.25 hours per week across the following shifts: * Thursday: 14:00 - 22:15
* Friday: 14:00 - 22:15
* Saturday: 14:00 - 22:15
* Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00 Flexibility may be required to support the needs of the business. Key Responsibilities * Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
* Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
* Respond to incidents calmly, professionally, and in line with company procedures.
* Carry out regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
* Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
* Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
* Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
* Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
* Work closely with store management and colleagues to support operational requirements. What We're Looking For * Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Professional, confident, and reliable approach.
* Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
