Job description

We are looking for a self-employed Courier to join our team, providing dedicated same-day delivery services. This is not a multi-drop role, you will typically complete single collection and delivery jobs, ensuring goods are transported safely and delivered on time.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver consignments on a same-day basis.
• Ensure timely, secure, and professional delivery of goods.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers.
• Plan efficient routes while meeting agreed delivery times.
• Handle items with care and obtain proof of delivery (POD) where required.
• Maintain your vehicle in a clean, roadworthy condition and comply with all road traffic regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Access to a reliable delivery vehicle (car or van).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Appropriate commercial / goods-in-transit vehicle insurance.
• Strong organisational skills to consistently meet target delivery times.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently.

Further Information

Work Time: Monday to Friday during normal business hours, 9am-5pm Occasional weekend work may be required to meet customer demand. Ideal Candidate: A courier who enjoys varied daily work, values excellent customer service, and takes pride in providing a professional same-day delivery service.
