KS1 Teacher – Camden Location: Camden, London Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Start Date: 8 September 2026 Teach Now is recruiting a creative and confident KS1 Teacher for a Camden primary school from September. The successful teacher will take on a class at an important stage in their development, helping children move from early learning towards greater academic and personal independence. As the KS1 Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum Teach systematic synthetic phonics and early reading Build confidence in writing and mathematics Use assessment to plan targeted next steps Provide appropriate support for pupils with SEND Establish calm and consistent classroom routines Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants Maintain positive communication with parents and carers You will need: Qualified Teacher Status Recent experience teaching within KS1 Strong knowledge of phonics and early reading Secure curriculum and assessment knowledge Strong classroom-management skills Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding This KS1 Teacher opportunity would suit an experienced educator looking for a fresh September challenge in a diverse London school community.
