Consultant in Anaesthetics

I have been assigned by an NHS Trust in London to help them recruit a Consultant in Anaesthetics on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months.

This post is a general Anaesthesia with the opportunity to subspecialize in Obstetrics, Regional, Trauma and colorectal Anaesthesia. The trust have made it clear that they are keen to foster individual interests within Anaesthesia, including research and quality improvement ambitions and will encourage continued development within a job planning review and appraisal. In addition, Trust's Anaesthetic Services achieved the highest possible rating of ‘outstanding' in the CQC inspection carried out in November 2018. Teams were praised for focusing on the individual needs of patients under exceptional circumstances and for their commitment to multi-disciplinary working.

Furthermore, the successful appointee will also be teaching & training for Medical students, taking part in audit / research and clinical governance activities & will even be offered the opportunity of developing / pursuing an area of interest in own specialty as agreed and appropriate.
