Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Bricklayer to work with our client based in the South Tyneside area on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The assignment is initially for six months. Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying, repair and maintenance work across various properties. The role will involve completing work to a high standard while ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. Main Duties:
- Carry out bricklaying and masonry work
- Complete brickwork repairs and maintenance
- Prepare and repair surfaces as required
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience as a Bricklayer
- Relevant Bricklaying qualification
- Experience carrying out brickwork repairs and maintenance
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Strongunderstanding of health and safety regulations
