Job Title: Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant

Salary: £14.25 per hour

Are you a motivated and hard-working Teaching Assistant who can provide a positive and supportive presence in the classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream Welsh-medium schools in the Vale of Glamorgan. The schools are committed to ensuring every child receives equal support, with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and creating a positive learning environment.

The schools are looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will work across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils with their learning and wellbeing while confidently communicating in Welsh throughout the school day.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children
• Confidence communicating in Welsh
• Experience supporting children within KS1 and/or KS2 is desirable
• A motivated and hard-working approach
• A supportive and positive presence
• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team
