Grow here. “Are you ready to join a team of talented engineers and shape the future of the Nuclear Industry?” Joining our established and expanding Nuclear team as a Senior Process Engineer means engaging in a diverse and growing array of UK-based projects. This role offers the opportunity to participate in multi-disciplinary projects at various stages of their lifecycle, from client consultancy to delivering comprehensive engineering design solutions. Your responsibilities will include client interaction, preparing bids and proposals, and overseeing project delivery in line with AECOM's standards for quality, safety, and environmental care.Our established multi-disciplinary nuclear SQEP team, based across the UK, has been delivering fit-for-purpose solutions across the full spectrum of the nuclear sector for over 50 years. We offer technically excellent delivery and strategic services, working in close collaboration with our clients and partners to shape the future of energy and support the ongoing and planned decommissioning efforts, ensuring our UK nuclear sites are safe for the next generation.As we continue the growth and expansion of our nuclear capability, there has never been a better time to join our nuclear team and work on some of the most exciting projects in the industry.Here’s what you’ll do:Production of key process engineering deliverables as part of a wider multidiscipline team, these include: Process Descriptions, Basis of Design, Process Flow Diagrams,  Process & Instrumentation Diagram, Process & Instrument Data Sheets & schedules, Underpinning design calculations, Mass and Enthalpy Balances, Design Justification Reports. Additional:Ensuring that own work meets the necessary legislative, company and projects requirements. Planning and prioritisation of own work in line with the project programme(s). Development of early careers staff, via support, guidance and checking of work. Responsible as a ‘Designer’ under the CDM 2015 regulations.  Supporting Safety Case development via engineering substantiation. Pragmatic approach to problem solving and ability to apply ‘Engineering Fit for Purpose Judgement’ where appropriate. Communication of design development in project meetings and in written reports. Liaising with other discipline engineers to ensure a fully integrated multidiscipline design.  Staying abreast of relevant technological advancements and general best practices. Come grow with us.Become part of our dynamic nuclear team, which boasts a team of leading and innovating industry experts.
