RE Teacher - Supportive Secondary School - Newark
A welcoming secondary school in Newark is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities department. The school is committed to providing pupils with a broad education and is looking for a teacher who can deliver thoughtful, engaging and challenging RE lessons.
The successful candidate will teach RE across KS3 and KS4, encouraging pupils to explore different religious, philosophical and ethical perspectives. The role would suit a teacher with strong subject knowledge who can create an inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel confident contributing to discussion and debate.

The successful RE Teacher will have:
QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
Strong knowledge of Religious Education.
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
The ability to encourage discussion and critical thinking.
Strong classroom-management skills.
