About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring pupils to develop physical skills, teamwork, and confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Promoting participation in sport and physical activity

  • Supporting extracurricular clubs, teams, and fixtures

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress

  • Contributing to the development of the PE curriculum

  • Supporting school sports events and competitions

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have strong subject knowledge in Physical Education

  • Be confident delivering a range of sports and activities

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management

  • Be passionate about promoting health and fitness

  • Work effectively within a collaborative department
