Wellbeing Advisor – On-Site Role (Govan/Scotstoun, Scotland)

We are currently seeking a Wellbeing Advisor to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, providing on-site health and wellbeing support at a key client’s location in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland.

This is a full-time, on-site position with no remote work option. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, which includes:

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Candidates must also be willing to travel within the UK up to three times per year.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Wellbeing Advisor, you will support employees by delivering musculoskeletal-focused and health coaching programs. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting health screening assessments and individual/group wellbeing interventions.
• Providing tailored evidence-based advice based on patient health profiles and behavioral change stages.
• Supporting lifestyle-induced disease management through sustainable lifestyle choices.
• Delivering exercise sessions and leading functional rehabilitation programs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team to develop occupational health programs.
• Conducting and analyzing clinical physiological tests and escalating concerns when necessary
• Presenting clinical and utilization data to stakeholders.
• Supporting the development of health promotion campaigns based on organizational data.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Degree-level qualification in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, or Sports Therapy.
• Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 Personal Training, and Level 3 Exercise Referral qualifications.
• Experience working in a sports, medical, health, wellbeing, or fitness environment.
• Strong understanding of health risks in the workplace and their impact on work.
• Experience in delivering health assessments and interventions.
• Ability to modify exercise programs based on injury and patient needs.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including those with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and mental health conditions.
• Strong communication, organization, and diary management skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, or Sports Therapy.
• Experience using coaching software, health tracking apps, or telehealth platforms.

Additional Information:

• Security clearance will be required. Candidates must not resign from their current role until final confirmation is provided.
