A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Property Administrator looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Working closely with experienced fee earners, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.

Working closely with experienced fee earners, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to fee earners within the Residential Conveyancing department.
- Opening and closing files and ensuring compliance procedures are completed.
- Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors.
- Managing telephone and email enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Requesting searches and reviewing incoming documentation.
- Assisting with exchange and completion processes.
- Maintaining accurate case management records and diary systems.
- Supporting fee earners to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
- Previous experience working within a residential conveyancing environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using a case management system would be advantageous.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
