- Working on live projects from the start in a variety of sectors from healthcare to education
- Mechanical services design and calculations
- Working with supervisors on scheme design concepts
- Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production
- Design co-ordination with other professional disciplines
- Producing detailed designs and drawings
- Input into or development of energy and sustainability strategy and dynamic thermal modelling
- Participating in design team and client meetings
- Undertaking site visits or surveys
- Researching and implementing new technologies
- Continuous CPD and learning opportunities
- Your typical work might include Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Control Systems, above ground drainage systems and hot and cold-water services. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, and a keen interest in working in the Buildings sector, you'll be:
