You will take ownership of the group's financial reporting and compliance activities, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met across multiple territories.
The role will have a strong external reporting focus, with responsibility for consolidating the financial results of a number of subsidiaries and managing relationships with external advisors and auditors across the group's international footprint. Responsibilities will include:- Preparation of the annual consolidated financial statements for the group
- Management of statutory accounts across all group entities
- Oversight of annual audits and coordination with external auditors
- Responsibility for corporation tax returns, VAT returns and other compliance reporting
- Preparation and review of group reporting requirements
- Monitoring and managing financial compliance risks across the group
- Leading the year-end reporting process and supporting wider finance projects
- Managing, mentoring and developing a small team
- Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of financial controls, processes and reporting
