Job description

Reporting directly to the Head of Homelessness Policy & Strategy, the Action Plan Lead will lead and supervise the development and delivery of action plans that support the Homelessness Strategy and/or implementation of associated homelessness policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support staff to deliver the business objectives of the Homelessness Policy & Strategy Unit and wider Landlord Housing Services.
• Develop effective communication with customers and staff to improve service delivery, including liaison with the Communications Department as required.
• Work in partnership with staff, customers and stakeholders and represent the Homelessness Policy & Strategy Unit and Housing Services internally and externally in a positive and consistent manner.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification OR
• Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning AND at least 3 years working within a homelessness function.
